The benchmarks, submitted by individual institutions, were presented to journalists during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja on Monday. Among the schools, Pan-Atlantic University set the highest minimum cut-off mark at 220. A number of leading universities, including Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Benin, University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, University of Nigeria, and Covenant University, pegged their minimum score at 200.
